Job Title: CNC Programmer
Location: Neilson & Finch, Scarborough, ON
Dayshift temp to perm after 3 month probation.
Pay: 2-5 years CNC Programming experience $20.00-$25.00 per hour
5+ years CNC Programming experience $25.00 + (BOE)
Company Overview:
Our client is a precision manufacturer specializing in high-tolerance machined components for industries including aerospace, tooling, and mold making. Known for their expertise in producing complex parts, they are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities:

Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling machines (primarily using Mitsubishi and Fanuc controls)

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering models to develop accurate CNC instructions

Select proper tools, cutting speeds, and feeds based on material and part requirements

Collaborate with setup operators and machinists to ensure accurate part production

Continuously improve and update existing programs to increase efficiency and reduce cycle times

Support troubleshooting during production and assist with problem-solving when issues arise

Maintain documentation of programs, revisions, and setup sheets

Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards at all times
Requirements
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of CNC programming experience (preferably in milling operations)
Strong knowledge of G-code and CNC programming concepts
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Background in metal manufacturing is preferred
Experience in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing is an asset
Familiarity with Mitsubishi and Fanuc controls is a plus
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Must have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and workflows
