Job Description

Our client is a manufacturer bulk material handling equipment that is sold domestically and internationally ranging from mining, recycling and agricultural industries.

They are looking to hire a full time permanent Assistant Purchaser/Buyer.

Location- Mississauga, ON

Salary Range- $60k-$65k

Shift-Monday to Friday (Dayshift)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Purchase goods and services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Processing requisitions and updating concerned parties on status of orders.
• Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which
may impact day to day business operations

Requirements

 

• MUST be very proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of products, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook.
• MUST be proficient with working with an ERP system. Our company uses Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
• MUST have 3-5 years of experience in a procurement environment.
• MUST be highly detail oriented
• Highly motivated, organized, results oriented, problem solver, decision-maker, strong mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written
