About The Role


Looking for a strong, dynamic, and innovative Business Development Specialist. Under the supervision of the Divisional Sales Manager, this dual role will be responsible for expanding and building new business opportunities. As a Business Development Specialist, your duties will include establishing networks within industry, building and maintaining valued customer relationships, negotiating deals and administering sales order management. As a Lead Generation Specialist, you will bring a desire to learn and execute cold calling and assorted other outbound prospecting methods to build our lead generation pool. To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate some previous new business development strategies along with the desire to learn a variety of others. This position does not require any travel flexibility.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and expand business toward sustained growth, through contacting new business opportunities and inquiry on their baghouse, filtration and services
  • Evaluate and improve sales, by identifying and developing new lines of business based on customer
  • Identify new business by researching and creating networking opportunities, through cold calling and prospecting strategies
  • Receive RFQ’s, prepare and present quotations, and negotiate terms and provide exemplary customer
  • Coordinate all sales administration for new customers through; creating specification sheets, sample bag approvals, order entry and maintaining detailed customer records in Company’s ERP and CRM
  • Participate as an active member of the AES sales team through presentation of accurate and timely sales information as well as participation in weekly sales
  • Maintains complete knowledge of and complies with company and department policies, procedures, and
  • Maintains client and company confidence by keeping information confidential and
  • Maintains a positive working relationship with team members and management in a team

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Business Development role, manufacturing industry is an asset
  • Proficiency in integrated business systems; ERP and CRM
  • Advanced knowledge of business development and marketing strategies
  • Completion of a University Degree in Business Administration, or equivalent work experience

  • Experience in identifying profitable business opportunities and potential
  • Exceptional ability to analyze market trends and competitor
  • Ability to maintain strong client relationships and establish industry partnerships.
  • Competency in negotiating and closing business
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and customer service
