Job Description

Our client is a manufacturer of material handling equipment. All types of conveyors systems, packaging machinery/Palletizer/depalletizer equipment and robotic automations.

They are seeking a self-motivated, ambitious junior design engineer to assist in design and project management for their diversified line of Robotic and Automated mechanical Packaging Systems with a strong emphasis on their standard product lines, which are sold to Manufactures and Distributors in both North American and International markets.  
Requirements
  • Previous design experience with Material Handling Equipment (a bonus)
  • Exposure to Robotics & Automated Machinery (a bonus)
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented and creative personality
  • Team player, able to work with our existing management, sales and engineering teams
  • University Engineering Degree or Engineering Technologist Diploma required
  • Engineering and strong technical design background (a must)
  • Fluent with AutoCad – 2D modeling
  • Fluent with SolidWorks – 3D modeling
  • Strong project management skills
  • Willingness to do what it takes to get the job done including extensive travel, irregular hours and above average dedication to the job
  • Compensation will be based on a salary. They also offer a competitive benefits package
