We deliver our customers with the best-in-class innovative products for various industries including Automotive, Assembly, Medical, and Food & Beverage.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Direct staff activities ensuring ongoing productivity and work quality
  • Train and mentor shop floor staff as required
  • Assist with hiring, and performance reviews of shop floor staff
  • Distribute workload amongst shop floor; organize contract work
  • Facilitate and maintain storage, and physical inventory to organize floor space
  • Coordinate with external resources, vendors and suppliers
  • Manage quality control and ensure document control protocols are followed
  • Hold daily and weekly team meetings.
  • Develop safe work practices, health and safety policies and procedures
  • Provide technical solutions on improving productivity and efficiencies on the shop floor
  • Manage the reception, handling, distribution and storage of all incoming materials
  • Ensure proper housekeeping and health and safety protocols are followed by all staff
  • Ensure Quality Control on all rescinded materials and assembled products.
  • Other duties as assigned

Professional Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Automation and/or Machine Building
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with supervising employees
  • Ability to write health and safety policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act responsibilities for supervisors and workers
  • Experience and knowledge of the applicable safety standards with respect to automated equipment
  • Experience with power tools is a must
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written); able to read and comprehend instructions well
  • Able to follow directions well
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, understanding the need for urgency to meet production schedules.
  • Ability to successfully engage and interact with all levels of employees in a multicultural environment
