Hiring Service Technicians for TORONTO & MONTREAL

Permanent hire!  
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
•Perform daily/weekly inspections as assigned by site
•just be familiar with working safely around high and low voltage systems and be
familiar with lockout/tagout procedures.
•Maintain clean and safe work environment and maintain clean and effective
•Examine parts, checking for breakage, excessive wear, or other damage,
completing routine maintenance as assigned by site supervisor.
•Clean and lubricate vehicles, machinery and components to ensure safe and efficient
•Must be able to communicate, on the forms provided, the required documentation for repairs and maintenance performed.
•Inspect, operate and test machinery and equipment to diagnose source of
problems, determining parts and estimated time frame to complete repairs.
•Determine parts and materials needed and requisition from site
•Plan and lay out repair work using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance
manuals and schematic diagrams.
•DiSas5emble broken or defective equipment to facilitate repair; reassemble equipment when repairs are
•Position vehicles, equipment, physical structures and other objects for assembly or installation, using hand tools, power tools, and moving
•Transfer tools, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from workstations and
other warehouse areas.
•Safely adjust, connect or disconnect wiring, piping, tubing and other
•Safely connect wire to motors, fixtures, and other electrical equipment, replacing
switches and fuses, and splicing wire as necessary.
•Locate damaged air and hydraulic pipes or hoses on machines for
•Install and repair electronic components of equipment as
•Repair, adjust and replace gauges, valves and other regulating
•Adjust, align and balance equipment as necessary.
•Test machines after
•Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices, grinders, welding and soldering
•Inspect, repair and replace motors as necessary for material handling systems,
material moving equipment and sawing machinery.
•Weld machinery
•Fabricate and weld brackets, supports, other necessary
•Use programming devices for fault tracking and parameterization of electrical
control devices such as PLC‘s and operating devices.
•Use specialized tools such as databus testing devices and other diagnostic
devices as necessary.
•Participate in all quality , safety training and job certification requirements for this
•Comply with all company policies and
•Perform any additional duties that may be assigned, such as visiting other
customer sites.
•Maintain a good attitude and maintain positive customer


Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
The employee will work near moving mechanical parts; work in high, precariousplaces; and work where there is risk of electrical shock.  
The employee will frequently be required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk, hear.
The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 The job functions will require close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust.
The employee will be required to work in areas with a loud noise levels.  
Working Hours  
Employee will be required to work overtime when Once qualified, employee will be required to work “on-call"; safe and reliable means of transportation
