Our client is the leading partner brewer based in Toronto (East York) with a growing list of domestic and international clients. Their state-of-the-art, open concept operation includes world class equipment that can support a wide range of products from traditional craft beer to non-alcoholic products, and large scale RTD production.

 

Position Summary

Purpose of the Accounting Specialist role is to support the Brunswick Finance Team with the cash cycle and month end.

 

We are looking for a highly motivated Specialist who is looking for a challenge in a growing company:

Key Responsibilities
Perform the full-cycle of accounts receivable; issue customer invoices, post transactions to our accounting software for sales and receipts of payments, perform collection calls and follow ups with slow paying customers.

  • Perform the full-cycle of accounts payables; process invoices including making payments and posting them to our accounting software.
  • Prepare weekly cash cycles reconciling, cash on hand, to accounts payables and accounts receivable.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing of the books including bank reconciliations, prepaid and accruals review, inventory true-ups, government production reports and filings
  • Other ad-hoc work to support the Finance team

Requirements

  • Working towards CPA Designation
  • 5+ years Accounts Receivable and Billings experience
  • Experience as a user in SAP is a plus
  • Good communication skills coupled by inherent ability to prioritize and organize tasks
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to establish priorities in a fast-paced environment
