Job Description |
- Lead cross-functional teams to investigate, determine root causes, establish corrective actions and drive to closure on wide variety of technical issues related to commercial landing gear manufacture
- Collect and analyze metrics (QNs and trends, snags, scrap, etc.) and use this data to advise the business on quality performance and to set priorities
- Interface with other quality and production personnel to support and drive investigation of defects and creation of robust Root Cause Corrective Actions
- Follow up on RCCAs and drive to closure
- Perform audits as required (product, internal, etc.)
- Collect data for and complete actions from Quality Review meetings
- Collect data for and complete actions from Corrective Action Board (CAB) meetings
- Create standard instructions and quality alerts where necessary to support quality initiatives
- Support the OSV certification process
- Perform training as applicable and facilitate quality improvement initiatives
- Work constructively within teams focused on problem solving
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements |
- University Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent technical experience in directly applicable aerospace manufacturing environment
- 5 years of experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment in a similar capacity
- Demonstrated extensive technical knowledge of machining. plating and/or surface finishing processes on steel or titanium
- Knowledge of the QMS process, especially corrective action system as well as demonstrated familiarity with the internal audit process and ability to generate technical documents
- Strong analytical and communication skills (verbal & written)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Demonstrated team player who is able to work with minimal supervision
