The PLC Programmer role will be involved in designing and documenting automated controlled systems, building machine concepts, integrating electrical & mechanical system software’s, as well as developing processes for installations to follow specifications and strict timelines. Our manufacturing process is aimed towards improving quality, delivery, productivity and most importantly safety.



  • Diploma or Degree in El. Engineering / Related Field or strong technical background
  • Minimum of 3 Years of Experience. Preferably in Automation Manufacturing Environment / Robotics
  • Experience with PLC and Robotic programming with Allen Bradley/Rockwell software- RS Logix 5000/Studio 5000 of assembly welding lines
  • Extensive knowledge in HMI programming – Factory Talk View Studio
  • Knowledge of Ethernet and Dnet and other communication protocols
  • Knowledge of resistance welding, electrical standards, and latest safety standards
  • Working Knowledge of MS Office & Windows 10
  • Able to design and program welding lines from the start of the project to completion
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and operations preferred
  • Able to lead and work independently as well as within a group.
  • Attention to detail; tight deadlines, ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Adept to change and constant improvement
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and program functioning PLC and HMI for controlling assembly lines and stand-alone machinery (i.e., nutwelders) using Allen Bradley/Rockwell software- RS Logix 5000/Studio 5000 and Factory Talk View Studio
  • Debug control systems and equipment. Evaluate all processes are working accordingly and perform I/O checks. Install & commission control systems locally in the shop or at customer sites when needed
  • Develop designs, documentation, and programs according to the scheduled timeline
  • Ensure control engineering design will follow the customer specification
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues as per customer requirements. Perform field service work as required on customer sites when needed
  • Collaborate with various customers, designers, team leads, project managers, toolmakers & electricians to identify any problems to produce our customers with a completed functioning automation system
  • Participate in regular project meetings to report progress and track engineering changes as well as identify any action items needed to maintain the project on time
  • Develop and follow-up Control open issues list
  • Utilizes various diagrams & schematics, equipment manuals, and other resources
  • Identify potential improvements and provide solutions; ensure quality control
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
