Job Description

Our client located in Newmarket, Ontario is currently seeking a Maintenance Millwright. 

RESPONSIBILITIES/EFFORTS
•Works with production to co-ordinate maintenance priorities based on schedule requirements to minimize downtime.
•Ensures preventative maintenance schedules are followed and that documentation is completed in full.
•Performs repairs to production and plant equipment as well as repairs required within plant facility
•Communicates clearly and timely with colleagues on opposite shift to ensure that accurate information is exchanged on daily tasks
•Performs all duties as assigned in accordance with and adherence to the TS 16949 Quality System Standard
•Follows Policies, Procedures and Work Instructions as outlined in the Quality Systems Manual and Employee Handbook
•Performs all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by all health, safety, 5S and Housekeeping guidelines and rules;
•Reports all unsafe & unhealthy conditions to Management or a member of the Joint Health & Safety Committee
•Performs other tasks as required

Requirements

Supports both Production in the Press & Assembly areas and the Toolroom with troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance on all equipment including the facility
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/ PREREQUISITES
•Valid 433A Millwright license
•3 – 5 years industry experience with a focus on stampings and assemblies
