Job Description

Our client is one of the largest distributors of credit cards/bank cards/security cards. They are looking for machine operators for their busy production floor.

Dayshift 6am-2:30pm Mon-Fri ($17.00 per hour)

Afternoon shift  2pm-10:30pm  Monday-Friday ($18.32 per hour)

Night shift  10:30pm-6am Sunday to Friday ($19.36 per hour)

On-going contract

 To function as a contributing member of the personalization team to ensure that equipment maintenance, productivity, yield and quality objectives are continuously improved and achieved in a manner that promotes development and empowerment in an HSE, security and Lean environment.


  • Maintain and operate Personalization and/or Fulfilment equipment as required, depending on workload and circumstances to produce jobs in accordance with customer, company and/or industry specifications.
  • This includes: 
  • Meet shift targets as defined by the shift Coach and track them on daily basis
  • Perform all quality checks and follow established procedures
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance as scheduled and document work performed
  • Participate in team meetings and with team review past performances and promote a culture of continuous improvement and waste reduction
  • Promote team harmony, assist in working towards High Performance team status and achievement of the levels of empowerment through Career Path
  • Communicate instructions and information to other team members
  • Participate in and support team in Problems Solving events(Kaizen), use of kanbans, E-maintenance, TPM, SPC, continuous improvement, reduction of waste, error proofing and other Lean Six Sigma initiatives
  • Participate in and support team in all HSE and security policies/procedures. Report all unsafe acts, conditions and security violations. Participate in all scheduled HSE and security trainings
  • Other duties as necessary to maintain OTD and other specified department/plant objectives


  • Good math skills;
  • Working knowledge of computers (familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel etc);
  • Knowledge of MfgPRO or other ERP systems;
  • Strong work ethics, sense of responsibility and confidentiality;
  • Comfortable working with numbers and detail oriented;
  • Organized and have a sense of urgency;
  • Good decision-making and problem solving skills;
  • Mature attitude and a strong work ethic are essential;
  • Prior experience working in a team environment is a plus;
  • Ability to work without constant supervision;
  • Ability to handle material handling equipment and operate forklift;
  • Good work history/references needed;
  • Ability to pass credit/background check;
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs boxes on a daily basis.
