We deliver our customers with the best-in-class innovative products for various industries including Automotive, Assembly, Medical, and Food & Beverage.


We are looking for a Toolmaker to join our growing, dynamic team!


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read and understand technical drawings to determine materials and machines required to fabricate parts
  • Develop specifications from general descriptions of specialty tools
  • Modify and shim tooling and fixtures into required specifications
  • Assemble machines and tooling as per specifications
  • Test parts and identify any defects; ensure parts meet specifications
  • Assist other trades and operators as required
  • Identify potential improvements and provide solutions in a timely manner
  • Ensure machines and hand tools are working in a safe manner; troubleshoot and resolve any issues in a timely manner
  • Maintain a clean working area free from dirt and debris between tasks and at end of day
  • Act safely, within fabrication shop rules and guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned

Professional Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in automation manufacturing environment, preferably in Automotive.
  • Minimum of 1-year related experience or training
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Experience with welding is an asset
  • Forklift license is an asset
  • Ability to operate tools and machinery safely
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Attention to detail; tight deadlines, ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Adept to change and constant improvement
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to successfully engage and interact with all levels of employees in a multicultural environment
