Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
Our client is a manufacturer of steel racks and cabinets and they are currently looking to hire for Mechanical Assemblers.
A Brief Summary of This Position:
Working in a team environment the mechanical assembler will be responsible for the assembly and packaging of data communications cabinets and related products.
Location-Richmond Hill, ON
Shift- Days & Afternoon Available
Monday to Thursday 6:00am to 3:00pm and Friday 6:00am to 12:00pm Monday to Thursday 3:30pm to 2:00am and Friday O.T shift 3:30pm 9:30pm
Pay Rate- $19.00-$21.00 (BOE)
Essential Functions:
- Mechanical assembly using hand tools (screwdrivers, drills, pop riveter etc…)
- Checking parts for quality.
- Packaging completed assemblies
- Ensuring order accuracy
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Requirements
Qualifications:.
- Experience working with hand tools
- Good communication skills
- Mechanical inclination
- Attention to detail
Remuneration:
In addition to a competitive salary and benefits all qualified employees become part of the companies employee ownership plan and participate in share ownership and profit sharing and are also eligible to participate in their group RRSP.
This position would become a permanent position after a 3 month probation period.
