Job Description

Our client is a manufacturer is a poultry farm and custom processing plant. They are looking for a Plant Maintenance Supervisor (Food Production) to keep our facility in optimum shape.

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Dundalk, ON

Salary: $70k

  • Maintain the annual preventative maintenance plan, procedures and schedule
  • Perform all general maintenance duties to avoid possible failures and malfunctions of all equipment in the plant
  • Lead corrective maintenance actions and tasks in collaboration with equipment manufacturer maintenance teams
  • Coach and mentor and oversee the supervision of general mechanics, laborers and subcontractors.
  • Organize and complete daily work assignments in a timely and accurate manner
  • Analyze repairs requests and troubleshoot them with the assistance of other maintenance team members
  • Perform installations, assembling, fittings, repairs, and replacements as needed
  • Assist with emergency maintenance and repair
  • Maintain complete records of daily maintenance activities
  • Maintain work area cleanliness, including maintenance tools and equipment in safe, clean and good working conditions.
  • Attend assigned training and safety programs initiatives





  • A Diploma or Certificate in Facilities or Building Maintenance
  • Certificate of Qualifications (Ontario) 433A (Industrial Mechanic Millwright), Red Seal or Licensed Technician.
  • Demonstrated diagnostic skills in process instrumentation and mechanical maintenance
  • Minimum 5-years’ experience in a similar role with at least 1 year leading a PM program
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time and perform a variety of activities which may include lifting, bending, stretching, squatting, pulling
  • GMP, BRC, and HACCP certification an asset
  • Experience and knowledge of food manufacturing processes, machinery and maintenance an asset
  • Maintenance Supervisor: 3 years (preferred)
  • Supervisory: 3 years (preferred)
  • 309A Electrician: Construction and Maintenance (required)
  • 433A Industrial Millwright (required)
