Repair various kinds of hoist equipment on customer premises.
Service Company supported products to maintain a respectable image of the company in the eyes of customers, vendors and competitors.
Observe all safety procedures and use proper protective gear.
Perform inspections of customer equipment and report findings to the supervisor.
Lift, tighten, adjust and/or secure objects in order to perform work duties.
Keep work area neat and clean.
Assist others as directed by the supervisor.
Read sales orders to determine: job status, work authorization/limitations, estimate, and description of problems and/or expected serviceability.
Troubleshoot suspected problems using various methods for both AC and DC.
Disassemble equipment noting parts, identification, configuration and condition.
Clean equipment assemblies as needed.
Measure for and note proper replacement parts. Correctly requisition needed items from inventory keeper, as approved by the supervisor.
Replace/repair worn/defective components/assemblies once approved.
Provide complete post inspection repair reports.
Retest reassembled equipment for proper operation.
Complete inspection report and apply certification stickers where required.
Coordinate with other office personnel to assure smooth workflow.
Report job completion to supervisor.
Perform any other duties as assigned
High school education
5-year hands on apprenticeship
Ability to understand, perform and retain various skills related training and operational and safety procedures demonstrated by the supervisor
