Winters is committed to ensuring that a safe and healthy work environment exists for every one of our contractors and visitors. It is in the best interests of every member of the Winters team to make Health and Safety a priority for everybody associated with our organization.

Our management is ultimately responsible for taking every reasonable precaution to protect workers against health and safety hazards on the job, in compliance with the Ontario Occupational Health & Safety Act. Management ensures that necessary procedures, training and equipment are in place to protect the health and safety of all employees, contractors and visitors.

It is the responsibility of every supervisor to ensure that employees under their supervision are trained in the safe performance of their duties and in all applicable health and safety procedures. Supervisors also monitor daily operations to ensure these procedures are being followed.

Conversely the employees, contractors and visitors are responsible for ensuring their own health and safety and for working in compliance with the all Health and Safety guidelines provided. Employees contractors and visitors must report any conditions or equipment that are hazardous or that prevent them from working safely.

Working together as a team, we will continue to ensure that Winters is, first and foremost, a healthy and safe company to work with and to visit.
